want to make videos… but what if I’m just not confident enough?
You’re not alone. Most teachers don’t feel confident at first. Confidence isn’t something you’re born with, it’s something you build. You didn’t feel confident teaching your first lesson, either. But you got there.
Inside VoiCE, we focus as much on mindset and presence as we do on the tech. You’ll get simple techniques and tools to help you feel natural and my favourite mantra is 'Done is better than perfect'
What equipment do I need?
To be honest, you’ve probably already got what you need. You can film on your laptop
or your phone (better). You'll be surprised by the great results you can achieve! You need a computer/ tablet that can support Capcut editing software (it's free - you can upgrade to Pro later if you want to). If you want to check this, you can download it for free here.
A tripod is useful but they're are cheap. Lighting is helpful but you can film by a window or outside or use what lighting you have in the house. I work on the principle of ‘use what you have and upgrade as it makes sense for you, personally'.

Will I need to spend a lot of extra money on software?
No. The course shows you how to use the free version of CapCut and although there is a paid version with a few more bells and whistles, the free version is more than enough to make really high quality, professional looking video material.
I'll be showing you a teleprompter app that I really like and that has a subscription but it's cheap and I'll also show you a free alternative.

if I look or sound awkward?
You probably will at first. And that’s completely fine.
Everyone feels weird watching themselves on camera. But awkward doesn’t last. You’ll learn how to show up as yourself with confidence and clarity. You don’t need to be a performer—you just need to connect.
I’m
not tech-savvy. Can I really do this?
Yes. If you can use Zoom and Google Slides, you can do this. VoiCE breaks everything down into step-by-step lessons—no jargon, no pressure, no “figure it out alone.”
CapCut is one of the simplest editing tools out there, and we teach you only what you need to make it work for you.
What if I don’t have anything original to say?
Let’s bust that myth right now. You do have something to say (what do you usually teach?!) and the way you say it is what makes it valuable. Your experience, your teaching style, your stories. They’re all unique.
It’s not about inventing new content. It’s about expressing familiar ideas in a voice that feels human, trustworthy, and real. Your voice.

The core programme is fully self-access, so you can build your skills and confidence at your own pace, with clear guidance and examples you can return to whenever you need. You’re supported by a private Facebook community and monthly live Q&A sessions, where you can ask questions, get reassurance, and troubleshoot as you go.
For teachers who want more personalised input, optional private Confidence Check-In sessions are available but they’re never required. Most people don’t need them. They’re simply there if and when you’d find them useful.
