Making sure your learners have understood what you think you have taught them is essential for teaching language effectively. For many trainees and novice teachers this isn't an easy thing to get a handle on at first and I have found that worked examples for different parts of speech are often helpful. So here is a short video about planning to teach and concept check a word (a concrete noun in this case) and the anticipated problems to look out for.
