Had a Bad Teaching Practice?

celta tips
Here's some advice
It's always horrible if you're on a CELTA course and your Teaching Practice doesn't go as well as you hoped but don't despair - Rome wasn't built in a day and here are three useful bits of advice to help get you back up and running!
Video transcript

Are you on a CELTA course and had a bad TP? You’re not alone. CELTA can be tough, but if your teaching practice lesson went a bit pair shaped, here are three useful thoughts:

1. You’ve got detailed written feedback on your lesson- make sure you read it and work on your action points in the next lesson.
2. Each lesson is a new start. Prepare really well for your next TP – planning is the key and it’ll make you feel more confident, too.

3. Ask your tutors if you’re stuck- they’re there to help you and they want you to succeed. Don’t feel like you have to do it on your own. Helping you is their job.

Hope that helps a bit and good luck with it all.
